Hello again to my non-existent followers. I'm sure all of you (which is no one) is wondering where I went for so long. Well I've come to tell you: nothing. I have no excuse for being MIA. Probably just lost motivation due to the sad amount of hits I have. Which is pretty much zero if you don't count the times I visit. So why I'm writing? Maybe to keep my sanity. Or maybe I still have some sad amount of hope nestled in my heart. Perhaps my little blogging career isn't over yet(not that it really started...) maybe someone, someday will read my blog. Perhaps I'll make as twitter for it. Or maybe even a Facebook page. Hmm... utilizing online media to publicize other online media. Tricky... I like the sound of it. The last resistance of my blog. How do people become so e-famous!? *sigh* anyway's... enough about my lost dreams. Onto what I really came here to blog about. Japanese Gyaru Fashion!! Although there are a million types, I more or less fancy the "toned down stuff". You'll see what I mean. A few of the pictures I have are from two magazines. AGEHA && EGG. Typicall AGEHA is for a more older readers, mostly in their early twenties. Readers of AGEHA in Japan usually works as hostess'. In Japanese terms; more or less a legal female prostitute. Without the sex. Kind of like an escort. However, EGG is more for teens in high school. Usually they read this before AGEHA. In Japan their outlook on women is that they have black hair and very pale skin. Magazines like AGEHA and EGG set trends for girls who don't like to abide by those standards or just want to look fashionable. Believe it or not, a lot of their 'inspiration' comes from the U.S, Canada and England. (Look at the hawaii themed clothing the Yamanba/Yamamba's wear.) Here is a website for classifying different gyaru looks: http://japanlinked.com/Japanese-Culture/Gyaru-Gal-Styles.html &&& MY FAVE YOUTUBE VIDEO EXPLAINING THIS STYLE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rHmx2vbNXc
